Elshadai English school an English Medium School was established in 1973 by Late MR . J. Manuelmony .The name of the School was then changed to ”Manuelmony Matriculation Higher Secondary School” in his loving memory. At present the school with nursey section attached.The medium of instruction followed is ”English” and other languages taught are “Tamil, Hindi and French”.

The syllabus has got its own special features.Tamilnadu Samacheer syllabus is adopted with a high and modern standard of education.A higher standard of education is maintained by following mostly modern and newest methods of teaching.

Manuelmony is like the river seeing thousands of students come in and go out every year. In our 43 years of service, we have never received any donation from outside . We have produced so many centums in X and XII standard Public Examination so far. We have 2200 students in Palavakkam branch and 1200 students in Thiruvanmiyur Branch and 400 students in Kandanchavady branch. Well qualified faculty is our strength and co-operation of the parents is worth mentioning here.
